Goal Systems, as an expert in the development of advanced products for the optimised planning of transport, has been awarded the public tender to carry out the digitalisation process of Euskotren, the leading operator in collective transport infrastructure in the Basque Country.
Euskotren will benefit from the advanced software of Goal Systems during this new stage of change towards a high-impact technological transition. This state-of-the-art software integrates Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning which, combined with the data generated in real time, simulates cognitive processes that drive learning and continuous improvement.
This project will allow Euskotren to modernise the management of its fleet, including the optimisation of the planning of material (which includes buses, metro, trains, and trams) and staff, significantly improving the quality and mobility needs of its more than 35 million users.
Also, thanks to the advanced modules of Goal Systems’ technological solution, the entire process, from planning to daily operation, will be addressed in a multimodal way, simplifying, and improving the workflow of the Basque public transport company.
